How to install the Contacts app in the Nox / MEmu emulator
For the program to add numbers to the address book, the standard "Contacts" app must be present.
For the Nox emulator no extra installation is needed. The "Contacts" app can be found on the emulator's desktop in the "Tools" folder.
For the MEmu emulator installation is required (steps may change depending on the program version):
Android 9.0 (64-bit) On the emulator's desktop go to "Tools" → tap "Contacts" to download.
Android 7.1 (64-bit)
- To install and open "Contacts", allow app installation from unknown sources in the security settings.
- On the emulator's desktop, in "Tools", tap "Contacts" to download.
- A "Welcome to Chrome" notification will appear — tap Continue, pick any search engine, and confirm the choice.
- A "Sign in to Chrome" notification will appear — tap Skip.
- Then download and install the file.
- On the "Blocked suspicious app" notification, choose Details and Install anyway.
Android 7.1 (32-bit) If you previously installed "Contacts" for another Android version and still have the Contacts.apk file, you can install it: "Tools" → Files → Download → Contacts.apk → Install.
Android 5.1 (32-bit) On the emulator's desktop go to "Tools" → "Google Apps" → pick Contacts and tap Install → Sure → Restart.
