Doesn't click buttons, doesn't see text, doesn't set avatar, status, etc.
Problem: the program doesn't perform actions (doesn't click buttons, doesn't see text, doesn't change avatar and status).
The most common cause: an issue with the Android emulator.
What's going on: to work, the program takes a screenshot (dump) of the emulator to figure out where to click. If the emulator doesn't return this dump, the program goes "blind" and doesn't know what to do next.
How it shows up:
- The program clicks in the wrong places.
- Doesn't change the avatar or status.
- Incorrectly determines whether an account is banned.
- Doesn't see system messages.
Why the emulator may not work correctly:
- Not enough PC power: a weak computer, or the emulator got "clogged" after long use (cache is full).
- CPU virtualization is disabled: without it, the emulator runs very slowly and unstably.
- How to check: a red exclamation mark will light up at the top of the emulator window.
- The internal click-coordinate cache is outdated: after an app update (for example, WhatsApp), the buttons may have shifted and the program is still clicking the old location.
- Solution: try clearing the click cache in the program settings.
How the program works depends directly on the stability of the emulator. Not all issues can be fixed from our side.
What you can try
- Restart the emulator (close everything and open again).
- Clear the click cache: top menu → Tools → Clear cache.
- Restart the PC.
- Enable CPU virtualization if it is off — for how to do that, see the Nox or MEmu forums.
- Try changing the resolution and DPI in the emulator (lower them) — after the change, make sure all WhatsApp windows and buttons fit on the screen without scrolling.
- Try changing the rendering mode in the emulator settings. It usually runs more stably in the basic mode (DirectX).
- Allocate more cores and RAM in the emulator settings.
- Try a different emulator (Nox or MEmu).
- Try different Android versions (4, 5, 7, 9).
If none of these methods helps, it's possible that changes in WhatsApp itself require a UniMessenger update. Usually this is visible from clear UI discrepancies. Before reaching that conclusion, check all the points above.
