MAX account limits, operating recommendations, and warm-up

Guides and tips5 minUpdated 2026-07-13

Practical guidelines for safer work with MAX accounts: messaging, joining chats, inviting users, number checking, and gradual warm-up.

Limits

Limits are the foundation of stable, long-term account operation, especially when automating messages, invitations, and checks.

MAX does not publish official limits. The values below are based on practical experience and testing. Exceeding them, especially on new accounts, increases the risk of suspension. Following these recommendations reduces the risk but does not eliminate it completely.

Main daily limits

Messaging new users

  • Recommended: up to 50 messages after warm-up.
  • Risky: more than 100 messages.
  • Conditions: personalize messages and wait more than 15 seconds between sends.

Joining chats

  • Recommended: up to 500 joins.
  • Risky: more than 500 joins.
  • Conditions: wait more than 10 seconds between actions.

Inviting users / adding users to chats

  • Recommended: 100–300 invitations.
  • Risky: more than 1,000 invitations.
  • Conditions: the suspension risk is high without warm-up; wait more than 15 seconds between actions.

Checker / checking whether phone numbers exist in MAX

  • Recommended: 1–10 checks.
  • Risky: more than 20 checks.
  • Conditions: frequent checks, especially of nonexistent numbers, may result in an immediate suspension.

Operating recommendations

Messaging

The platform closely monitors bulk messaging, so it is important to avoid behavior that resembles spam.

The most common causes of suspension are:

  • messaging unfamiliar users without pauses or personalization;
  • using identical text in every campaign;
  • a sharp increase in activity after a period of inactivity, such as sending a batch of 100 or more messages.

How to reduce the likelihood of suspension:

  • Warm-up. Start with 10–20 messages every 2 hours and gradually increase the volume to 50–100 messages per day.
  • Personalization. Add a name or other data and use text variations, for example: {Hi|Hello|Good afternoon}. Learn more in Spintax: how to make a message unique.
  • Intervals. Wait 15–30 seconds between messages.
  • List quality. Aim for a response rate above 50%. Include an opt-out line to reduce the number of users who report the message as spam.
  • Use IDs. Whenever possible, work with internal IDs instead of phone numbers.

Joining chats

  • Up to 500 joins per day is considered relatively safe.
  • There is no formal hard limit, but a sudden increase in activity or automation without warm-up may appear suspicious.

Inviting users / adding users to chats

  • Safer range: 100–300 invitations per day from a warmed-up account.
  • Practical maximum: about 1,000 invitations per day, but this volume is extremely risky and unsuitable for ongoing work.

Checker / number availability checks

  • Do not run large batches of checks one after another.
  • Check numbers selectively and alternate checks with other actions.
  • If a number is identified as nonexistent, do not check it again.

Account warm-up

Warming up an account and simulating normal user behavior are essential for long-term operation.

Warm up accounts for 2 to 10 days:

  • Day 1: send 1–2 direct messages, add contacts, and complete the profile.
  • Days 2–3: increase activity to 10–20 messages per day.
  • Afterward: gradually reach the target volume of 50–100 messages and 300–500 actions per day.

Simulate normal user behavior:

  • use pauses of varying lengths;
  • do not operate around the clock—follow a natural schedule;
  • alternate actions: messaging, viewing content, and reading chats.
