The path to the emulator's shared folder: what to enter in the setting
Sergey TehnowayThe shared folder path is only needed when the file transfer mode is SHARED_FOLDER. For Nox it is the Nox_share/OtherShare folder inside your Windows user profile, for MEmu it is MEmu Download inside Downloads. The second setting, the shared folder path inside the emulator (/mnt/shared/Other for Nox and /sdcard/Downloads for MEmu), is already correct by default and should not be changed.
In most cases you don't need to specify it. You only need to set it when choosing the SHARED_FOLDER file-transfer mode.
There are two parameters to distinguish:
- Path to the shared folder — the path on your PC for Nox / MEmu.
Default for Nox: C:\Users\<<your Windows user>>\Nox_share\OtherShare
Default for MEmu: C:\Users\<<your Windows user>>\Downloads\MEmu Download
If the path differs in the latest version of the emulator, you can find it in the emulator's settings.
- Path to the shared folder inside the emulator — the path inside the emulator's file system for Nox / MEmu.
This path is correct by default in the program settings and shouldn't be changed.
Nox: /mnt/shared/Other
MEmu: /sdcard/Downloads
