Nox / MEmu emulator is not detected
If the emulator does not show up in the list, pick the right type in Menu → Settings → Emulator, then close UniMessenger and every emulator, kill all adb.exe processes in Task Manager and start again — emulator first, program second. Your own adb.exe path in the environment variables interferes with this, and Nox and MEmu should not run at the same time.
If you downloaded the latest version of MEmu and the steps below don't help, download MEmu 7.6.0: MEmu version archive
If you launched the emulator and click "Refresh" but the emulator doesn't appear in the selection list, try the following:
-
In Menu → Settings → Emulator, choose the emulator you actually use (Nox or MEmu).
-
Close UniMessenger.
-
Close all running emulators.
- Additionally, use Task Manager to close all adb.exe processes (and everything starting with adb).
-
Launch the emulator(s) and wait until they open.
-
Launch UniMessenger.
If you use adb separately or have added the path to adb.exe to your environment, it can interfere with the other adb server that UniMessenger uses, and the program won't see the emulators.
You shouldn't run Nox and MEmu at the same time.
Restarting the PC can also help solve the problem.
