Messages "Number is no longer registered/WhatsApp temporarily unavailable/Try again/..." during registration or account operation

Problem: Messages like "WhatsApp is temporarily unavailable", "Try again in an hour", "Your number is no longer registered", and so on during registration or operation.

What's going on: This error appears after the SMS code is entered and signals that WhatsApp's spam filters have been triggered. In 99% of cases this means the account is banned. If the message shows up right after registration — WhatsApp effectively didn't let you finish it.

To avoid this error during future account registrations, you should change something in your registration approach:

  • Change the proxy (or change the IP address that registrations come from).
  • Change the service you take numbers from.
  • Change DNS — you can do this, for example, by enabling a VPN for the whole emulator (or the whole PC). Your DNS is shown by any service where you can check your IP address.
  • Take numbers from other countries and see how registrations go on them.
  • Wait a while. Sometimes WhatsApp starts banning a lot at one moment, then it normalizes. Or the service currently has such a batch of numbers and you have to wait for it to rotate.
  • Recreate the emulator, change identifiers in it, uniquize it in any way.
  • Register WhatsApp Business instead of regular WhatsApp.
