The checker doesn't work
The checker works like this:
- Numbers are added to Contacts.
- WhatsApp is opened.
- The program waits for WhatsApp to sync the numbers.
If you can't check numbers, see what happens in the emulator at each step:
1) Is the Contacts app there and have the numbers been added? With the "Via database" addition method, all numbers are added to one and the same contact.
2) Have the permissions for reading contacts, working with files, and other permissions been granted to Contacts and WhatsApp (WhatsApp Business)? To grant them → In Android → Settings → Apps → Contacts/WhatsApp → Permissions. Even with the "Via database" import method, the program needs to import 1 contact the regular way. If you see an error message about importing contacts in the emulator: Error importing contacts.
3) Is WhatsApp syncing the numbers? To see whether the sync process is running, tap the "send message" button and look at whether the round loading icon in the top right corner is spinning (see the screenshot).
Sync problems
3.1) If contacts are added but WhatsApp doesn't sync them, the issue can be: the proxy or internet in the emulator; a specific account; the batch size (number of numbers at once). You can also try another emulator (Nox, MEmu) and another Android version (Android 5 works better for checks). At this stage UniMessenger is just waiting for the result from WhatsApp.
3.2) If the sync takes too long, the program may not wait for the result due to the timeout. To solve this, increase the timeout in the settings.
What else can you do to solve the checker problem
- Import in another way (via database, via vCard).
- Change the accounts you are using.
- Change the emulator (Nox, MEmu).
- Create a new emulator and install the latest WhatsApp version.
- Change the Android version (5, 7, 9).
- Restart the PC, the program.
- Reinstall the program.
