NULL — Messages or "Waiting for message" / Waiting for this message
The Waiting for this message note and the NULL status appear because WhatsApp messages are encrypted and your account was offline when the message arrived — the decryption keys live on the sender's device. The text shows up once you open the account in the emulator while the sender is online. Delivery and warming up are not affected.
Problem: a message is shown as NULL or with the caption "Waiting for message" / "Waiting for this message".
Cause: in WhatsApp messages are encrypted. If your account was offline at the moment of sending, you may see this "waiting" instead of the text. Decryption requires keys that are stored on the sender's device.
Solution: The message will become readable when both conditions are met:
- You open the account on your device (in the emulator).
- The sender is also online.
Why does this happen especially often during automation?
It happens because of how the Autoresponder works. When the Autoresponder is running and many accounts are active at the same time, the account is often offline when a reply arrives. At that moment "waiting" messages are formed.
Does it affect account warm-up? Usually no. This "waiting" does not mean the message wasn't delivered. It was received successfully, just not decrypted yet. Account warm-up and message delivery aren't affected.
