UniMessenger update history: part 1

UniMessenger update history: part 1

Key UniMessenger WA changes from 2018 to 2021: sending, registration, warm-up and scheduling. This part covers versions 1.4.0.0–1.6.1.0.

1.4.0.0: multi-threaded sending

In July 2018, UniMessenger added multi-threaded work with selectable emulators. WhatsApp no longer had to open for every message, making campaigns faster. Proxy account limits, chat history, multi-emulator account handling and the {phone} placeholder were added as well.

1.5.0.0–1.5.0.1: auto-replies and limits

The main addition was an auto-replier for incoming messages. Daily statistics, per-account message limits, new account-table actions and fixes for image and file sending followed.

1.5.2.4–1.5.2.7: proxies, checker and contacts

These releases added manual proxy switching, auto-reply rule import/export, multiline media descriptions, multi-threaded number checking and importing contacts immediately before a campaign.

1.5.4.0–1.5.4.2: warm-up and new message types

A separate tab for account warm-up and automated conversations appeared. The interface was refreshed, with browser sending, vCards, audio, GIFs, locations and dedicated proxy settings.

1.5.5.2–1.5.5.3: checker and registration

The checker could save OK numbers with extra parameters. Registration gained new SMS providers, repeated code requests, a used-number blacklist, timeouts, WhatsApp reinstall and country selection.

1.5.5.8: WhatsApp group messaging

UniMessenger added sending to WhatsApp groups and chats, including finding invitations in loaded text, following links and sending messages. The auto-replier and its stability were improved too.

1.5.6.2–1.5.6.4: registration settings

Separate delays, faster Nox shared-folder transfers, post-registration calls, avatar setup and repeated SMS entry for temporary errors were added.

1.5.6.9–1.5.6.18: statistics and stability

Statistics began separating regular campaigns, warm-up, auto-replies and group messaging. The releases added task-specific daily limits, Delivered and Read columns, automatic PIN entry, WhatsApp installation and faster multi-threading.

1.5.7.1–1.5.7.7: trusted-account warm-up

Users could choose warm-up and trusted accounts separately. Dialogue statistics, proxy switching during block checks and further auto-reply and SMS fixes were also introduced.

1.5.7.9–1.5.7.16: device uniqueness

Proxies could be tied to accounts during registration, while Nox gained device uniqueness. Each account could receive its own IMEI, Android ID and phone model. Group messaging, business registration and filled-group handling were refined.

These releases laid the foundation for the UniMessenger features used in later versions.

UniMessenger 1.5.8.0–1.5.8.5: a new account warm-up

Update period: January 22 - February 13, 2020

The “Chat with each other” feature was redesigned and renamed “Account promotion.” Users could configure a random sequence of actions:

  • conversations between accounts;
  • calls to specified numbers;
  • joining groups;
  • sending messages to groups;
  • calls between paired accounts.

Call stability was improved, new SMS services and countries were added, number and code entry during registration was refined, and the program began hiding some standard WhatsApp windows before opening an account.

UniMessenger 1.5.9.0–1.5.9.12: account transfer and task settings

Update period: March 7 - June 7, 2020

Version 1.5.9.0 introduced automatic account transfer between computers through a synchronized cloud folder.

Other changes:

  • ranges for timeouts and message counts;
  • saving and clearing the registration log;
  • copying existing tasks;
  • clearing WhatsApp data from the account table;
  • importing accounts from ZIP archives;
  • auto-replier optimization;
  • periodic chat cleanup during group messaging;
  • a total counter for successful and failed registrations;
  • resetting number counters and statuses.

UniMessenger 1.6.0.2–1.6.0.14: stability and extended warm-up

Update period: September 15 - December 24, 2020

The program was optimized for long uninterrupted operation. Warm-up gained profile-photo visibility changes, random statuses and avatars, keeping accounts online, opening unread chats, random on-screen actions and periodically minimizing WhatsApp.

Account opening, first messages to new groups and calls between accounts were fixed. WhatsApp could also be reinstalled after a specified number of accounts.

UniMessenger 1.6.1.0: scheduler and interface sending

Publication date: August 3, 2021

A scheduler for automatically starting tasks was introduced. Text and media could be sent either through the WhatsApp database or by opening the chat and entering the message in the app interface.

Interface sending was more resilient to WhatsApp changes and helped prevent message loss while the auto-replier was active. Browser sending, calls, SMS-service request logging and account opening in linked emulators were also refined.
